imageOur client asked us to help him spruce up his rental property and get it ready to sell.

After 15 years of renting it out the house was in need of some TLC

the flooring on the main floor wasn’t installed properly so replacing that was a priority as well as painting. We chose a durable vinyl plank that we installed throughout the main floor and on the stairs. We painted the walls in a great neutral (Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter).Countertops and backsplashes were worn and dated and needed to be replaced but the cabinetry were in good shape,  so we decided to refinish them instead of replacing.

in both kitchen and bathroom we decided to upgrade the countertops to granite and Quartz. We changed all plumbing- and light fixtures throughout the home and added a classic subway tile backsplash where needed.

Keeping the brass.
Instead of exchanging the brassy fireplace insert, we decided to change everything else. We added paneling and painted the back wall and mantel in a soft grey with blue undertones. The colour looks great with the brass which we repeatedly used in the accents throughout the space.

When B.J asked if I could help with her newly purchased apartment in Red Deer I was thrilled! I know she has excellent taste and is fun to be around (and I was secretly hoping to get paid in chocolate). The first area we were to tackle was the Dining area/Kitchen…
